Who are we?

St. Andrew Christian Care Center is a 501 (c) 3 organization with an eleven (11) member Board of Directors.

We serve to meet the needs of Bay County in two distinct ways:  Benevolence Ministry providing food & clothing and "A Sheltering Tree" providing help for those in a pregnancy crisis.

  • The Benevolence Ministry is located at  3101A West Hwy 98 (entry on West 17th Street)
  • A Sheltering Tree is located across the street at 1616 Cincinnati Avenue

We are a united corporate effort of numerous local churches to assist, minister, and carry out this mission of love. ALL of our people serving do it because they love people - no one receives a monetary compensation. EVERYTHING given to us is given to our clients at no charge.

The Benevolence Ministry began on February 9th, 1998 in one small room.  God started and has blessed and expanded His work by allowing us to now provide food and clothes for hundreds of people each week. A Sheltering Tree ministers to hundreds of young girls and women each year, assisting with pregnancy testing, confidential counseling, maternity clothing, diapers, wipes, baby food, as well as gently used baby furniture and car seats.

How can you help? By donating money, clothes, (especially MENS and small children age 3-12) diapers, baby wipes, OR come serve with us, temporarily or permanently. Can you give 3 hours one day a week? We need you! If you can pack a food box, help unload a truck, have basic computer skills, or able to sort and/or hang clothes (all with a SMILE!) then you will be blessed!  Your church, civic organization, or your workplace can host food drives or clothing drives as a way of contributing.

If you have questions come by and let one of us give you a tour of our facilities and show you firsthand what happens at SACCC, located in the Center of Hope Building. You will not be disappointed.
